An evening with Veneda Carter & Timberland at END. London
Nestled a stone’s throw away from Carnaby Street, END.’s London flagship store played host to an intimate evening in celebration of Veneda Carter’s latest venture – an uncompromising collaboration with Timberland that embodies the Danish stylist and designer’s inimitable perspective on modern dressing. Distilling her creative essence into a duo of silhouettes – a glossy, patent rendition of the iconic 6-inch boot and a thigh-high, heeled model – Veneda’s iconoclastic style enraptures with its references to classic hip-hop and ‘90s fashion codes, building a language that seems simultaneously familiar yet progressive.
Sitting down with the multi-hyphenate in a bespoke space reflective of the collaboration’s esoteric aesthetic, the talk was hosted by the UK editor of Hypebae, Navi Ahluwalia. Delving into Veneda’s creative approach and zeitgeist-defining sensibility, the creative powerhouse discussed her history working with Kanye West for YEEZY and being the personal stylist to Kim Kardashian, the importance her brother played in her passion for ‘90s style and hip-hop, and what she looks for when she’s building an outfit.
Sound-tracked by Noods Radio resident MJK, the event was complete with cocktails and a meet and greet with Veneda, offering further insight into her creative process and shining a light on her unrivalled talents.
